Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of OnlineWILL. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

OnlineWILL, operated by Terentia Consultants Private Limited, is an online platform that helps you prepare a structured Will document by guiding you through your personal details, beneficiaries, assets, executor and wishes.

2. Not legal advice

OnlineWILL provides general information and a document-preparation tool. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using the platform does not create a lawyer–client relationship. For complex estates, trusts, business succession or disputes, please consult a qualified lawyer.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete and truthful information.
  • Review your generated Will carefully before signing.
  • Execute your Will correctly — signed by you in the presence of two witnesses who are not beneficiaries.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential.

4. Validity of your Will

A Will's legal validity depends on how it is executed, not merely how it is prepared. We provide a structured document, but you are responsible for signing and witnessing it correctly. Registration is optional in India and does not affect validity.

5. Fees & payments

You may build and preview your details for free. Fees apply when you choose a paid plan or generate a final document, as shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed through a secure third-party gateway; we do not store your card details.

6. Amendments

You can edit and re-generate your Will while your plan permits. Certain later changes may attract applicable fees as described in your plan.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its design, content and software are owned by us or our licensors. The Will document you generate from your own information is yours to use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnlineWILL is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, or from errors in the information you provide. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
